Choosing the right product

Which Baby Hoodie should I purchase?

The best Baby Hoodie for you will depend on a couple of things; the age of your baby/toddler, how you will be using it and the time of year. Our various Baby Travel Wraps differ only in the fabrics used in their construction. This is explained in detail under individual product titles.

All Season

Made from one layer of 100% polyester anti-pil fleece and one layer of 100% cotton jersey, this is a great option all year round and is equally suitable for car seat or pushchair travel.

Ultra Lightweight

Made from two layers of 100% cotton jersey, the Ultra Lightweight Baby Hoodie provides a light wrap for the summer months. Just enough to keep your baby warm in an air-conditioned car, it also provides that essential sun-protective layer to give you peace of mind. Very useful for holidays in sunny climes. Again, the Ultra lightweight can be used equally well in the car seat or pushchair/pram

Harness variations

The Baby Hoodie is made to be as versatile as possible, fitting harnesses in car seats, pushchairs, prams, carry cots, strollers as an modern alternative to a cosytoes or footmuff,  shopping trolleys and swing/bouncy chairs. We haven’t yet come across a harness that doesn’t fit.

For 3 point harnesses (shoulder straps and crotch strap), just feed the harness straps through the correct openings in the Baby Hoodie.

For 5 point car seat harnesses (shoulder and lap straps are joined and meet the crotch strap in the centre of the seat), undo the hook and loop between the shoulder and lap openings in the Baby Hoodie, pull the strap through and re-fasten the hook and loop.

For 5 point pushchair harnesses, feed all the straps through the openings and fasten into the buckle in the middle.  If shoulder and lap straps are joined and meet the crotch strap in the centre of the seat, undo the hook and loop between the shoulder and lap openings in the Baby Hoodie, pull the strap through and re-fasten the hook and loop.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding harness fitting.  For additional car seat safety regarding harness fit take a look at our car seat safety video .
