How lucky are we to have discovered on 17^th July it is National Ice Cream Day ?

We have a gentleman called Thomas Jefferson to thank for introducing Vanilla ice cream to the United States when he discovered the flavour of vanilla in France and brought his own recipe to the United States in the 1780’s, where he wrote his own recipe for vanilla ice cream ?

I guess then if we are thanking people, we need to thank President Ronal Regan who proclaimed July as National Ice Cream Month and established National Ice Cream Day.

With all this glorious sunshine we are having we soooo need a National Ice Cream Day.
